Coming down the home straight with these doors. Here is a quick shot of the set up for the slot cutting on the old router table.. Finished the rebates on the panels… back 4 mm and the front 7 mm Using the Incra Fence and the Woodpecker Unilift made it easy to switch from one height to another … Moved the blade on the TS to 45 degrees and positioned the fence for the bevel cuts on the front of the panels.. I love Mission style furniture and am working on my first piece, a couch table that will be used as an aquarium stand. I’m trying to take my time with this one, it gets worked on a little at a time in between some of my smaller projects. The table is red oak from HD. I don’t have a planer yet so I needed to buy lumber that was close to size and fairly finished. I want to try somethung in quarter sawn white oak next. hey everyone, over the last couple of days i have been able to get a lot done in terms of milling up the lumber and gluing up panels. i chose sycamore for the trash box because it is a hard wood as opposed to the pine that i was going to use before. there was a sale at the lumberyard on sycamore and it was less per bf than a select 1 board of pine. so the purchase made sense. first i got my lumber and let it sit for awhile and then milled it up. the first picture is of a rough board and ...

In saving space, making one piece out of two functions will be a nice way of making tailored furnitures. Dust Deputy for my shop

With all my wood turning and saw dust that is generated in the shop that accumulate rather quickly I needed something that wont clog my vacuum every time is vacuum. I was searching around in the Google Search engine and found The Dust Deputy . I used a Home Depot bucket and my Ridgid vacuum cleaner. This system has proven to very satisfactory and does a great job. I almost never have any thin in vacuum cleaner. I just mounted the system on a simple 2×4 and plywood cart.

Episode 80 Entertainment Center Part 1 from kostas workshop on Vimeo.In this episode I start working on my saw dust chronicles build challenge entry. I start working on the panels that are going to be used for the sides and the top and bottom. After I cut all the parts to size I glue up the boards to make panels.
