This is my attempt at a book box.Made with mahogany and pine. For the inlay I just used the table saw to make the grove.The hinges have taken up the most time but are very rewarding once they work properly. I will update the project as it progresses with photos.

Building a Murphy Bed

This week’s Project is a horizontal Murphy Bed. The bed I built is a twin size bed using the Create-A-Bed Hardware kit from Rockler Woodworking and Supply. The finished look of the bed can be trimmed and finished to match your homes decor, really the limit on the final look is only limited by your imagination. Junior Cert Woodwork Project #6: Finished

Well here it is my finished junior cert project, i have to say although it isnt perfect for my first cabinet im extremely happy with it, i love the boiled linseed oil and beeswax finish on the cabinet, there is only one annoying thing because this cabinet has to be examined for my junior cert i dont get it back until the results are out which is in september, but when i do get it back i will be posting a video. heres some pics tho:
