The guy that purchased this table has a 600 lb granite top. So we had to make something large, sturdy and yet attractive. The cottonwood came from the K Ranch on the Colorado Utah border in Dinosaur Colorado. And yes it is seriously the name of a town. Here is the rough material. each stumo will sit on a base, the base it not necessary, it adds to the beauty

Well, we were invited to be a part of an “By Invitation Only” showroom. It is called Rocky Mountain Design center, located in Evergreen Colorado right of I-70. This is a 25,000sg ft showroom which features all high end lodge type home furnishing, from all of the U.S as well as Tibet, India and Europe. Needless to say this is suppose to be some of the best of the best and we are so thrilled to be a part of it. Anyway we will be renting a 400sq ft space to feature our work, the...

This piece here is smaller and we are able to fit it in the blast cabinet. This is a lot nicer way to work, but man after a few days if this my neck gets a severe kink in it. The blast cabinet. After the red colored wood has been blasted. Now we need to shape the rough edges, sand, add the leg supports and glass supports.

Well, we are making some progress on the two coffee tables that we are working on. This is after it has been leveled, the levelers/slides have been added and all the rough edges have been rounded and shaped.
