Bandsaw Log Resaw Sled Journey.

Story: OK here is my journey into a bandsaw resaw sled, after doing some research and viewing others sleds for re sawing logs I found Gary Fixler's to my liking and thus the task was in motion, I first scrounged around through my lumber and located all the pieces I’d need for the project, 3/4” and 1/2” maple plyboard, I then made the hour drive to the woodcraft store and purchased one single 24” long T Track and cut it in two 12” halves and also purchased two 1/...

One of the reasons I got my Rikon 14” Deluxe was to mill small logs into lumber and bowl blanks. In order to do this safely it is important to keep the log steady while pusing it past the blade. Here is my version of a log sled that I built for it 1) The base is 3/4” BB Ply. On the top I have placed two Incra tracks to help adjust the depth of cut. 2) I have added a runner to the bottom to ride in the miter slot on the BS.
