Wormy Chestnut Shaker Linen Press #1: Milling the stock

I was fortunate enough to buy a few hundered board feet of wormy chestnut from a fellow in the woods of West Virginia. I figure there’s 150 to 200bf usable. Metal detected and got (hopefully) all the metal out.. .I stickered it to 11% and began the laborious process of jointing (PM 6” w/ Global knives) and resawing it (3tpi Lenox hook on 20” Rockwell). While I’m waiting on a new bandsaw blade (made it about 100bf), I think I’ve got enough wood to start the botto...
