This video features a new crosscut sled built for my shop. Inspiration for this sled came form books in my library and countless Internet searches. This is a simple project for the shop that will increase safety, speed and accuracy of crosscuts on the table saw. Construction is simple with a MDF base, maple fences, Incra Miter Bars and T-Track. Well, things have been busy at home and at work. I finally got back in the shop today to work on a cherry display shelf for some close friends in Central Oregon. I put the last coat of poly on it last night and was able to move it in to the office this afternoon and get that temporary desk moved out of the way. Well I was able to work much of the day yesterday and today on my desk. Yesterday got stuff cut down and prepared for assembly. did some part sanding. I decided to use miter cuts for the legs similiar to my assembly tables in my shop. I like the look better then butt joints.
