The 60 degree band saw sled as seen in the woodworking video is made from scrap. It took 15 minutes to build from scrap material. As you can see, it is used when cutting small wood pieces for wood inlay banding & parquetry.
What kind of band saw blade is being used? ...Wood Slicer – 1/2”, skip tooth, 3-4 TPI. It provides an excellent cut.
Can a 60 degree sled be used on the table saw? ...Yes, of course. In fact, my shop is equipped with one as well.
