Kitchen Remodel – New pics added…
Well, March is here and the shop is now open. I had planned to have the design of the new kitchen finished but it’s not. What a great use of the winter down time but the design process has been long and hard fought with my wife. We have very different tastes and I was just happy to agree on the cabinet style but where to put them and what type of hardware has been the road block. I thought it was high time I did a more detailed post. It’s not exactly blogesque, but at least it’s not clogging up the main projects with details. This goes with the cabinet I just posted on the projects page. Enjoy.

So enough with the microscope for today and on to my newest tools purchases and a project! (Finally they say!)
There you see a Stanley block plane, small Stanley hand saw, and a piece of granite. The block plane will be functional with some loving on the jig. The saw is to replace my japanese pull saw until my new one arrives from Woodcraft.
