We woodworkers are always struggling with proper design and proportions. Luckily there are a few standards set more or less in stone that help us cover the bases of our furniture drafting process. This design is a takeoff of a night table design I did last year. The influence is the architecture of Bhutan. I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso, one of only about three places in the world that share this type of architecture.
