I was able to squeeze another good day in the shop around work. I ran off to buy some more oak, then got home and planed enough of it down to glue up the stretchers/aprons for the table ends. While the laminations were cooking, I decided to give the BeadLock Pro a whirl.

I glued up the doors and set in knife hinges this week. Here are a few photos of the process.
First I glued up the doors. I sometimes have problems getting my panels and doors to glue up square so I came up with this simple jig to help with the process. It is nothing more than a couple of jointed sticks clamped square to the bench to keep the assembly square.

Under Pressure
I don’t know about the rest of you, but glue up stresses me out. Even though we had dry fit the doors, I feel that time crunch as soon as I spread the glue.
These doors are only held together by tiny tenons on the left and right beadboard pieces. The process
