I have always aspired to do something creative. I love the challenge and the rewards of taking an idea and bringing it to reality using my mind, heart, and hands. I grew up as a farmer, cattle, pigs, chickens, tobacco, milking to some extent as well. My papaw on my fathers side taught me those skills, as well as other things. Getting Started #2: Next Steps

OK, I have posted a couple of pictures of my proposed workshop in the workshop area. I’m really excited about it. After all these years, an actual shop and not a corner of a cramped garage! I’ll post more after I clean off the clutter on the workbench. It’s a vicious cycle – I need to unpack tools to build storage to hold the unpacked tools which have no storage to hold them. On the off chance that anyone is interested, and because I’m new to blogs and facebook format, I’ll just plunge ahead and start blogging away and begging for advice on woodworking. I’m just getting started with woodworking as a hobby. That’s bad and good. Bad because a demanding avocation like woodworking is intimidating for someone who hates to make mistakes.
