It has been a few weeks since writing but,that is the way things go during season as a furniture maker. I wanted to get a little more information out on my apprenticeship with the State of Vermont. I started in the middle of July 1995 ( I was getting ready to be a junior in high school) and we finally worked out me working in the shop. I started my apprenticeship in 1995 right before I started 11th grade. I had worked with my dad on our house since I was 10 years old and had worked many jobs mowing lawns and yard work.This was going to be my first time working a job that I did not make the rules. It will start by saying that am new at this whole blog thing and I am working at it so I can get better.It is kind of something that I am starting to enjoy and, it takes some of the normal life stress stuff and helps put it a side for a little which I think we all need to do somehow every day. Hi, Glen is at a Lie-Nielsen workshop today & wanted to pick up some veneer at Artistry in Veneer. Some of you asked to see more of Glen’s furniture. The video was taped on the last day of Glen’s solo show at the NJ School of Architectural at NJIT by a friend of ours Edison Lee, a videographer & rock climbs with Glen.
