A music video of some of my past projects. The projects range from painted floors to a home bar with a built in waterfall. Some other projects include: water walls, fountains, foil finishes, faux finishes, leafing, gilding furniture projects and a faux copper ceiling. Well, I had romantic notions of making my #100 Blog Entry a big to-do with a long and folksy Kansas Flint Hills Tour Guide with lots of cross linked information about the area where I live and work. It is a great area, and the rest of the world is starting to take notice. This week’s visit is to the shop of Mark Decou in the scenic Flint Hills of Kansas. I grew up in Kansas, and fished and hunted on “the old home place” not far from Mark’s neck of the woods. Big sky, broad vistas, rolling prairie hills with flint and limestone outcrops, farmsteads with Osage Orange hedgerows and babbling creeks.
