Router Table Feather Boards

While makin the 3-in-1 bed….......yes, I’m still buildin it… I felt the need for a few featherboards that would house these inch and an eighth wide slat retainers. Just part of the process. I try to be more careful since I clipped my finger a while back. Thnx for the looks, and/or comments….....good/bad/ugly.. I took the plunge today! I finally bought a Magswitch featherboard at Rockler. I have been eyeballing them for a long time, but too stingy to let go of $70! I thought I would just get a couple magnetic switches to make up my own. The other option is just making up an expanding rail to fit in the miter slot. Neither have gotten done, but I have been watching eBay for bargains on magnetic switches. Low and behold, I found one with about 900 pounds pull with a shape that that would easil...

About six weeks ago I received a catalog in the mail with a jewelry box on the cover. My wife saw the cover and asked me to make it. I guess I should not leave catalogs lying around and should take them to the shop. However, if I leave the catalogs in the house she will find something for me to make. Yes! A new project is born.
