Do you all know that denatured alcohol burns, invisibly. I mean you can’t see it burn. Well a little blue flame maybe if you’re at the right angle. Well let me tell you from the beginning. I’m on quite a few meds from a broken back, diabeties and a few other ailments. Needless to say my wife does’nt even want me in my shop, let alone playing with power tools and chemicals. Almost ready for a dry fit. Got every thing mortised and tenons cut still have one more mortise to cut for the strechers on the legs and i’LL dry fit it. Still a lot of sanding and staining. I even have the strips of ebony cut last night. still have to cut into 1/4 in. lengths, but I think I’m gonna make them just a tad longer. I’m finding a lot of brown streaking in the ebony, is that normal? Just the type of ebony I have? Anyway I’m gonna have to dye with a dark mark...
