825 days ago by Martin Sojka | 24 comments »

Our Summer Woodworking Awards Event has come and gone and the Award recipients are already enjoying their well-deserved gifts. With yet another challenge completed, it’s time to start planning our next event and what better time to think of helping others than right now. Not only is the change of seasons heading us towards the time of year that many children look forward to (Christmas) but many children are also being threatened right now, by the effects of natural disasters as well as the...

Mid-Atlantic LumberJocks Picknic/Get Together

330 days ago by Greg3G | 18 comments »

Calling all Mid Atlantic LumberJocks! I met up with Karson at the Baltimore Woodworking Show earlier today and I mentioned to him I would like to see a Mid-Atlantic LumberJocks Picnic or party this year. He thought it would be a great idea. I would like to get a feel of how many of LumberJocks in the Mid-Atlantic area would be interested in meeting this year. I am thinking late June as a time line. Between the time school let out and the July 4th holiday. We thought that the Baltimore/W...

It took some time to finish all the details… but now it’s time to say it loud: We’re ready to go! I’ve prepared dedicated event's page where you can find all of the details (you can also find the link by clicking on the STICKIES in the header). And Debbie has included official event’s announcement in today's eMag issue. Chicago Lumberjocks Meetup/Woodworking Show December 2009 #2: Need some response if LumberJocks is going to be a part of this

5 days ago by kshipp | 3 comments »

I saw the photos from the Sacramento event and it looks like everyone had a really good time. You can check out the pictures here and here. You can look at the previous post in this blog for more information on the Chicago event. We need some people to at least say they are going to be attending the show. Ideally we would have some people who would be willing to sit at a LumberJocks booth for an hour or even give a short (15 minute) class. I need to get back to the people at the Woodwor...
