Since posting my work on Lumberjocks, I have received a huge number of requests for help and advice on the building of powder horns and doing the scrimshaw artwork to decorate the horn.

IT’S DONE!!!!!!!! I am editing the final video of the machining process….
I have completed final stages of machining a custom helical cutterhead for my DeWalt 733 Planer.The design is what I came up with from looking at other companies’ designs. About a month ago I received a phone call asking if I would demonstrate the Art of Scrimshaw at the Senior Center in Marion, KS. The lady that called said that she has held onto a brochure of mine since 2003 that someone had given her then, and so she decided to see if I would come and talk to the group.
