Crib #2: Progress

The crib is almost done, and has been for awhile. I started work on the crib before joining lumberjocks. I have one more coat of finish to apply to the side rails. I ended up using a 1/4” roundover router bit for most of the edges. I’m not sure how my joinery will hold up. I am not setup to do mortise and tenons yet, and used glue and biscuits for the head and foot board. I think having the large ash boards running horizontally will keep everything stable. Article of my Cat dozer in a Caterpillar magazine

Hello,Finning Cat recently published an article about my High-track dozer in the Tracks and Treads magazine. My dad is in the construction business and frequently has meetings with clients in his office. Some of those clients are pretty high up in the Finning Caterpillar company and noticed the model dozer I made for him in his office. They asked him to send them some pictures of it and some information about myself. Months later, there it was in the magazine. I was really excited to see it. ...
