A good friend and I were doing one of our very frequent Think Tanks (sounds better than just talking) and we wanted to do something a little different than just typical scroll saw fretwork style cuttings. Basically we came up with an idea to make typical fretwork a bit more exciting. Simply by overlaying shaped pieces of wood on top of a portrait style piece of fretwork. Okay more like one day spread over two days, yet i finished it though it ended up being a cougar rather than a panther. I like it more and the wood just made me go that direction. I started taking pictures of the figure refinement, but realized after a while, there was no card in the camera.. so I missed some shots. What you missed was the muscle, joints, and head shape refinement. Which I copied off pictures of large cats on-line. Sorry about that…
