In order to successfully sell your product you must have a target market. It is not realistic and actually foolish to think that everyone needs or wants your product. On the surface this should seem logical if you are creating hand turned bowls...
This is my first woodworking project. I built it to enter in a student competition. I placed 4th at Regional’s and 6th at International’s with students from around the world. My Inspiration for this project come from an article from issue #176 of Fine Woodworking magazine. My choice of subject for my bench top work bench was because I wanted something useful that I knew I would use often. My project is basically a miniature work bench. Its purpose is to bring the work your doing up higher ...

As some here know, I enjoy entering my woodworking projects in the local Fair Competitions. This year is no exception. Last year I entered a Wooden geared clock at the Orange County Fair in Southern California. This year I will be entering the same clock in the Puyallup Fair in Western Washington (My new home). I learned a lot at the OC Fair about displaying my clocks and how the way it is judged makes a huge difference in how it is awarded. The clock was delivered to the OC Fair in pieces, s...

Beyond the round one is a stepstool in a traditional shape, Renee’s entr...
