Bench Top Work Bench #1: The Process

546 days ago by Jeff Waggoner | 3 comments »

This is my first woodworking project. I built it to enter in a student competition. I placed 4th at Regional’s and 6th at International’s with students from around the world. My Inspiration for this project come from an article from issue #176 of Fine Woodworking magazine. My choice of subject for my bench top work bench was because I wanted something useful that I knew I would use often. My project is basically a miniature work bench. Its purpose is to bring the work your doing up higher ...

The Puyallup Fair #1: Gearing up

1062 days ago by GodofBiscuits | 6 comments »

1247 days ago by Lee Barker | 0 comments »

A delightful and delighted 30 folks showed up for our meeting. Not nearly that many projects, but a nice array of approaches to the challenge: Something to sit upon, made from one board of juniper. Basic, stout, graceful, and how you do the seat when you run low on material. Steve Henderson. Don Sheets built this is a print rack for his artist wife, but hey, you could sit on it—gently! Beyond the round one is a stepstool in a traditional shape, Renee’s entr...
