turnings #12: A small juggling pin

1317 days ago by Gary Fixler | 7 comments »

Been awhile since I posted anything! How’s everyone been? Work keeps me busy all the time anymore, but I do love it. Unfortunately it’s a very long drive, about 45 minutes to an hour in the morning, crawling along LA’s 405 and 101 freeways. A Kansas Lumberjock Offical Meeting at Kev's Place

2598 days ago by Mark A. DeCou | 13 comments »

After reading Martin’s blog yesterday about all of us having some lumberjock club meetings, I did one of those head slap moments and thought out loud, “Why didn’t I think of that?” What a great idea, a nice way to tie us altogether….actual face, to face club meetings. I was first visited by Joel Tille from Iowa. Then, it was Kevin Larcom from Wichita. Now, Karson tells me that he will honor me by a visit late this summer while he is in Kansas seeing famil...

Some go to Baptist Children’s Home, Children’s Cancer Center, poverty workers , homeless mothers, etc. – and some to a ‘Shoe Box’ operation that includes them in packages to our military personnel overseas for local children – hopefully making a friend out ...
