I need some more clamps….like 20 or so…this is every one I own.
OK…bedtime…heading to my daughters on the Cape in the morning. We are wiring the lampost/mailbox I made her. I’ll get some pictures and post them tomorrow. Very easy and relatively inexpensive to make.

I figured I’d best get this blog done or I’ll never do it.
Some of you will remember the morris inspired chair design I did in Sketchup. Well it’s finally starting to take a real form.
This is my 1st attempt to do anything that might be construed as fine furniture…we’ll see in the end if it gets close. I’ve already made a number of mistakes I’m not happy with…a couple of odd twists of wood that split….a couple of bonehead hits with m...

Today was a goof-off day. I grabbed my handplane hunting pack, iPod and my son and I headed out to the local flea market. Unfortunately, no new tools were to be had today. We stopped at a few garage sales and ran across a guy selling a trailer of 5/4 rough redwood. I had been thinking about building some Redwood Adirondack Chairs for my patio. After finish our deck railing, I made this small chair for my Sweety. It’s dimensions are just right for her, but I can wiggle my butt into it with a slight struggle. It’s kinda like the three bears’ story. LOLI made another short<div>Making"> Video a Tag Alder Chair</div><div>color:#808080
