In this part of the build… burying the treasure…the Skull and Bones buttons…
I have started off by drilling a through hole in the centre of the curved end… yes I has a lot of confirmation that the curved end looked better… and then rounded over the edges..
Next … the holes were dug… OK I used a forstner bit to drill holes to bury the buttons…You can see that even with no finish on this the timber is outstanding…

In the following post, you will be able to witness the birth of a Blue Gum Jolly Roger Board…
I picked up this rough bit of Blue Gum from a mate…
It needed to be dressed and thicknessed and would not fit through the 15 in model I have…
So out came the TWC…
It was to be 25 mm [1 inch] thick but I think something like this should be a little thicker.. 37 mm [1 1/2 inch]
Ripped it on the table saw… actually it was a cross cut… but ripped it ag...
