Everyone’s going to hate me for this, but I just fell – not literally – into a lot of new Robert Sorby turning tools. The 18th (3 days ago) was my 32 birthday (for you programmers, that’s 100000 in binary – I no longer fit in 5 bits!). Mom sent me a box of Rockler goodies from my wishlist. Yeah… it’s party time. Today is LumberJocks Birthday!Our site is 3 years old, or should I say 3 years young?

I prepared a small gift for all of you. Internals of the pictures management – that you can see when adding new project, review or workshop – are revamped. I will use this updated system for the planned attachments feature. In addition to this I raised the number of pictures per project from four to six.

Wednesday afternoon and I am having a lay down on the bed. It has been a very productive couple of days.
Yesterday I drove to the local hardware mega mart store called Bunnings. I purchased some small MDF (about 2’ x 4’) to make an alternative present for my Mum. I was still feeling a bit seedy so decided to forgo making Kitchen Cupboard doors for Mum’s birthday.

Actually the day after. We call these “dog years” by some of us that have drank too much in the past, for too long of periods of time. It’s a group I belong to, that saved my life. The drink also ruins your health, because although you get some of your health back, statistically we have shorter lives then “normal” people. Why? I’ve read that we are more accident prone, we are more prone to cancers, and other disease “it” just does a lot of dama...
