April 26, 2008 This past weekend there was an Artist Studio Tour in the Listowel, Ontario area. One of the artists participating was John, our “Extreme Birdhouse” guy! After Rick was done work on Saturday, feeling that the rain was going to stay away for the afternoon, we took the drive north to see his work first hand. Well it is finally nice to get back to work again .I had 10 birdhouses to build then it grew to 12 yesterday so in order to get them done in good time i decided to build 4 at a time.Six of them will be made from 80 year old barnwood and the wood will be planed down and the other six will be done with 120 year old natural barnwood. I will be having plans made up for the most of the houses. I am also anxious to get these done so i can get back to building the large ones. lol ! ...
