Bevel gauge from a hack saw blade DIY Boat builder’s small gauge.
Some of you probably saw my little brass bevel gauge, after finishing this, I was searching the web and stumbled over a sweet little DIY bevel gauge made from a old hack saw blade, so I had to make me one just for the fun of it.
It’s fast to make, simple and cost almost nothing.
This is how it will look.

Of course it won’t do everything a sliding bevel gauge will do, but it does have the advantage of a built-in angle scale. Since it is larger than a bevel gauge the bar can mark further into the work piece and it is also easier to find in a messy shop.
