The Basement #1: Intro

Greetings Lumberjocks, Two years ago I finally got a space for my own. The basement of MY own house! Later I will explain how the shop has grown, but for now, I will just say, how great it is to have a space to express my creative side. If anybody has been following my workshop updates, you’ll be familiar with the fact that I barely even have a “workshop” right now; it’s more like a tornado dropped tools, parts of a forest, and piles of sawdust and woodchips in my basement. I can only imagine that this is a freak occurrence, and it just so happened to pick my exact latitude and longitude. My wife and I bought our house on the east side of Cleveland in spring 2007, and this past fall I was granted the rights to a small corner of the basement to use as a shop.
