The summer edition of the LumberJocks Woodworking Awards is fast approaching and it’s time to brainstorm the prizes and contact potential sponsors. We have raised the bar with the Steel City Bandsaw grand prize quite high this winter ;) I’d like to know the answer to the simple question: What’s you dream prize? January has been an entertaining and inspiring month, as the entries for our two Awards categories came in. I am very pleased to see the excellent response – with 50 boxes and 34 2×4 projects. Also, the challenges that we host throughout the year are intended to provide woodworkers the opportunity to expand their own skills. I think you have outdone yourselves. Very impressive work. Let me announce that the submissions are now open for our LJ Woodworking Awards - Winter 2008 in both categories – Not Just Any Box as well as The Multi-Purposed 2×4.
