Our successful Summer 2007 LumberJocks Woodworking Awards are over so allow me to officially announce the winners. The winning projects were selected from 45 total submissions in an online voting held from Aug 1 to Aug 7. 121 votes by 61 voters were cast during this period.

Popular Woodworking has announced the winner of the Thorsen Table Challenge.
Before we get to that, I want to congratulate all of the winners—everyone who took part in the challenge and enjoyed the process, the laughter, the teasing, and the inspiration that we have shared over the past three months.

There was a recent blog about removing the shipping stuff off of tools and such. Many of the responses mentioned the use of WD-40.

This is exciting news. Few weeks ago I’ve mentioned the idea of starting our own LumberJocks Podcast that would feature Interview series and hopefully more interesting audio or video formats in the future.
