Easiest Anvil Stand

I needed a stand for my anvil. I had just taken apart my workbench with all the 2×6 material and decided to use that. After cutting all the pieces to 23” I screwed 6 sets side by side using pocket holes. After I had all those done I screwed them all together in a laminate design. I flipped these back and forth to add strength so the pocket holes were not all on one side. Check out the video and subscribe.

Rustic Wall Sconces

My wife follows shanty-2-chic.com and saw some wall sconces on the website. She decided that she wanted to make them so she asked me to help. I cut the wood and installed keyhole hangers. She did everything else. The vases are old spaghetti jars spray painted gold. The foliage is from Walmart. Bunk Bed Build #7: Panel Prep and Glue Up

Hello again friends and thanks for following. In this installment I prep each of the panels (Head bard and Food Board) for glue up. I’ve done a lot of work since my last blog but progress has been a little slow. Before I glued up the panels I tested my dye/poly finish to make sure that pine and birch ply would look ok together.
