Here we go, folks – this time for real. Someone must be first, and I volunteer.
This is a barrister bookcase of my own design. I created it in eCabinet Systems, the program I use to design and create furniture pieces.
Dimensions are: 60”H x 36”W x 14”D
This could be built in modules, but I elected to do the bookcase as one piece. The model can be easily modified, now that the entire bookcase is designed. I also attach an exploded view, to pique your interest ...

How does success in our Winter Awards feel?
Gary: It feels strange. I am honored that so many of my woodworking peers liked my work. I think that this is the highest complement you can obtain.

Well . . . DW (Dear Wife) did not like my initial idea for the 2×4 project so yesterday evening she spent a little time surfing the net looking for things she would like to have in the house. She found a XXXXXX and asked ”can you make this?”.
