”Inside Looking Out”
....and so today i am sitting here, yes my place of hearing rest within the blog of this morning’s posting, a view of my way of seeing the dream, from ‘the inside looking out’....
As a worker of wood, I am always on the lookout for a new dream of some wonder-full images on my kaleidoscope of ‘wood art’. And so here I am again taking a break, as I meander around in the shop looking for that special, only one piece will do kin...

My buddy Shawn pointed out this statistic. It represents my average number of posts per day since becoming a LumberJock in December ‘06.
He accused me of being addicted, and I responded with, Maybe I do have a problem.
First, I want to apologize for being a blog-hog. Now that Shawn has brought this to my attention, I can hear the collective LumberJock groan every time I make a post.
I can hear my Buddy Mark DeCou protest that if I only posted something with content, and my arty...

Hi FolksIt’s been one of those months…....I get to spend lots of time in my workshop making things, having a great time and just enjoying woodwork. But that has been because my day job has been very quiet. And of course, when the day job is quiet you then spend most of the time worrying about the mortgage payment. The last week has been the opposite – work is now in overdrive and ‘shop time has been minim al (especially as I’m fried when I get home). But hey, at l...

Reading a lot about safety today. I’ve managed to lose most my safety glasses. Seems I get a pair every time I buy a new nail gun, so I should have a drawer full somewhere around here. I like those glasses. They sit on my forehead when I’m not using them. I can always find them. They don’t fall off when I bend over. I take good care of them. Always laying them so the lens don’t scratch. I keep them on the dashboard in my truck. Not in a tool box. I know how important t...

”Two Creatures, One Way Seeing”
....and so my mind goes off on a tangent this morning as i am escaping the realities of this my coming new work day, with the active act of unscrewing my head lid and letting my imagination gather wings and take to flight out of this confinement of refinement, as in; “please frank don’t do that….folks will think you have lost your senses and that much learning has in-deed made you muck mad….!”
—-but then you...

Ever since I seen the review on the Triton Routers, I just had to get one. What’s a better time than on your birthday. Barb & I have an agreement about birthday gifts. We usually choose something we desire. That’s all the surprise we need. It arrived here two days before, so I’ve been holding back on reporting this to you Lumberjocks. After examining it in my hands, I have to say it’s the Cadillac of all of the Routers.
