I had run out of 16mm (5/8”) glass tubes for my turned Rose Bud Vases. So I phoned my supplier who is only open every second Saturday of the month for walk-in business to ask him if he had any in stock. I’d just gotten married. Just gotten out of school. We were struggled a bit financially. I was hired on at a local woodshop. They had about 4 to 5 of us working there and I was the only smoker.
