You would think I should know better by now.
In truth I do.

Oh did I mention the lighting in that makes you think your headed for early blindness.
That said, up fro...

Well, the day is over and the install is not complete, but I only have about three hours to go. I have to finish the top and the end stiles need to be cut to size and put in place. Then I need to put the molding on and I may need to cut the adjustable shelves down a little bit more. They are not fitting as well as I had hoped.

After looking through some of the entries, I sure hope designs are judged, not on how well we can make SketchUp work! I’ve only been using it for 3 weeks and only for this one design. I’ve figured a way to make it do some things, but from what you all are doing, I’ve got a long way to go!

I was out of town this week so I didn’t get a chance to accomplish much.
I cut and installed the last of the supports for the legs.
Gave it a quick sanding and added some filler here and there
One more sanding and it’s ready for finish. It’ll be posted in the Project section next.

Today, Rick and I attended the Woodstock Wood Show and had the pleasure of meeting Jim McEntee, Vice President of Steel City Tool Works.. (See Part I of the interview with Jim)
At the wood show, Jim introduced me to Terry Ross, Sales Manager for the Ontario Region, and David Campagna, Sales Manager for Eastern Canada Region.
After some discussion about LumberJocks and what we are up to, we talked about the new products that will soon be introduced by Steel City. (for example: the j...

Another experiment. I did not have photos for everything. But I wanted to try out a new format for blogging. Might blog a new project in this format.

If you don’t know the work of George W. Hart…you’re missing some astounding creations in wood and other media. Since a man’s work ought to speak for itself, I intend to let it do just that. So visit this website and dream a little more about what you could do with wood.
