Once I had the cabinet home I (she) had to decide how she wanted to set up all the electronics. We (she) decided it would be better if both the top and bottom sections had doors on them, and we needed to put a couple shelves in to hold the dvd player, vcr, etc…

This is what I got accomplished shortly after ...

Bill, our company Sawyer, is constantly in the shop working hard on custom milling for people in the area. I’m begging him at this point for pictures of things he has done so I can put them up. No such luck as of yet, but I’m not giving up.
I wanted to write about how thrilled I am to have discovered this site. By reading and looking through all of your creative work and comments, I’ve been learning so much about wood working and turning. Truly, every project I have seen ...

The salon footstool project is nearing completion, I am just waiting for the finish to cure for the recommended 72 hours before I deliver the footstools and finally trash the pink plastic items these will replace.I made stool 4 and 5 as the same as number 3 using a through mortice and tenon for the stretcher. My practise attempts at wedging the tenon were not very successful so I decided to leave that for another project. These stools will be used for resting the feet rather than standing on ...

I appreciate the replys to my blog and intro. It’s a pleasure to hear from ya’ll and take in your advice, which I will certainly use.
I’ll be working on my LJ page here and plan to have my workshop uploaded this weekend. I am a former active duty Marine and now follow my wife who is still on active duty in the Army. That means that my shop has to stay lean and mobile since I move it every 3 years and right now it is located in our 12 by 20 garage here at Fort Stewart.

The first time I saw this site a man named Joel Tille was working on a Wiconsin Furniture Tilt Top Table. The article said it didn’t sell at auction. I was wondering why? And, was there a minimum bid that was not met.
I am curious because I have one of these tables. I also have the six chairs, ten leaves, and a matching buffet. My aunt bought the dinning room set for my grandmother in the early ‘50’s. It is the only table I remember sitting at when we went to grand...
