I have inherited my Dad's workshop and am trying to make walking sticks, just like he did. I try to find unusual items for handles and tops. I found this website by looking for information on how to do inlays - something new I am trying.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

More LJs visit the forums than individual profile pages. If you list you question on the forum you will get a better response. To do that, click on My Lumber Jocks in the upper right of this page. On the drop down menu, select “New Forum Topic” and follow instructions from there.

Please enjoy your membership.

Welcome to Lumberjocks I hope you enjoy this site as much as I do, I’m sure you will.

Hey Blanche, the best way to ask everyone a question is through the forums, just pick which one suits your question.

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself almost a year ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…
