« Part 1: Table Top construction Part 2 of Router Table Build series Part 3: Cabinet Build »

A little progress on router table build :-) this morning. After I got some more of the shop cleaned up and things put away I finally got back to working on router table cabinet. Not a heck of a lot of progress, but a start. Cut the 2’x4’ base, installed t-bolts to four of the 6 4” wheels I’ll use for the base. Brainstormed the final cabinet design: (4 Drawers at base, center dust collection box, and 2 sets of small pullout drawers for router bits.

I considering adding a set of shelves to the back to hold jigs (Tenon, Box joint, etc.). Oher alternative is storing them in cabinet of the table saw outfeed table, but I like the idea of having all the associated tools and equipment clustedd in one place.

Expect to post progress pictures end of day tomorrow after next working session. [Tomorrow, I expect to tackle some of my wood storage area which is a real mess]
