this is a project from back when I was in 4-H.
the sled is made of solid maple.
the curves have been steam bent, which was a bit of leaning curve figuring out how long to steam.
I finished it with a marine varnish (which I would not do again, it is to soft and rubs of the bottom)

this is the amp that my family and I gave mi little brother last Christmas and I had the the privilege to build the box for it .
i used walnut laminated on maple for the top and sides ( i was hoping to router a design through the walnut but do to a malfunction with my planer i was unable to do that) , maple for the bottom and walnut burl vainer glued on a plywood front
