I posted a picture of a Craftsman Style Frame i made and i thought if anyone was interested, i have a two part video series of how i did it. The main jointery is the use of a half lap. It’s a simple and yet strong joint. I decided to show how to make it using both power tools and hand tools. Hope you enjoy it.

You make it look easy!
A good idea for the hybrid woodworker.

Ha. Nothing in life is easy, Dave. It’s either practice, luck, or cheating. :-)

Thanks Eddie. For me, i love the idea of reusing something that was thrown out. The frame was made from a discarded desk top. No point in it going to thed dump. So now the trash hangs on my windows. What a minute… that sounds bad. Trust me i removed the banana peals that were sticking to it.
