Dennis is correct.
Kentucky makes about 800,000 barrels a year.
I’ve seen some of the artisan coopers at Shaker Village shaving small wooden bucket staves with a plane held upside-down in one hand.

I do a lot of split-twig crafting, where the twigs are split with knife then planed smooth on the cut side.

Unfortunately, I can’t dance like Chad. ;>

Steve-Safety Dan will be back in 2 weeks. Actually he had a very bad accident. But he is better now. So don’t worry he’s still around.
