Part 2: Column Detail (Routing the recess)
After clamping and rough sanding the columns the next step will be to rout in the recess.This is something that could have been done before the actual glue up, but I forgot to read the manual so it will be done as the second step.I laid out the size of the recess and decided that building a box around the column and using my 4” base laminate router would give me the spacing that I needed. Part 3: Ready for Stain
The Pieces parts are all done. The unit has been pre assembled to make sure everything works.
