Part 1: Return to Toolup.com and Menards Cutting Policy
I finally got my 7 1/4 freud blade shipped out for replacement to Toolup.com today. They provided me with a return shipped label prepaid which makes me happy. Unhappy part is that it will probably be another week at least before I see a replacement…couldn’t bring myself to pay double the price to get one at Home Depot. I just wonder why the guy placing the blade in the box couldn’t look at all 40 teeth before plopping it in there. I didn’t find the tooth in the ship...
Part 2: Bookshelf, coathook, and a bit of slop on the EZ.
So far my schedule has really only allowed me to get started on a bookshelf and a coathook for my front hall.The bookshelf hit a snag when I realized the plywood I cut for a few pieces was slightly warped. Took the wind out of my sail. So I plopped the boards on the floor and applied weight….I don’t think it straightened them much. But I think I can attempt assembly soon. The coat rack was a quick project to get me back into the flow. I made a big one and a small one for my son...
