Hi everyone, i am building a new workbench. This bench is to sell for some extra cash to help my grandson start collage, hes going to Purdue. Anyway i am building this workbench from SYP, the base is done and has 4.5×5.25” legs and 3×5” streachers. The top will be close to 3.375” x 24” x 7ft. The hight will be about 34” but can be raised by adding a block screwed into each leg bottom. I am still thinking about what type vises to add, maybe a twin screw type face vise and an end vise??? I will sell to anyone here for $1050.00 and deliver for gas cost. I expect to have it finished by the middle of may or first of june. If no responce here, i will put it on ebay about the middle or end of may when finished for $1250.00. Contact me if you want pics or info. I cant do the photobucket thing for some reason, but i can email or maybe message photos. I will get my son to come help me try to post pics as available. Thanks

I believe i shouldnt go cheap, i may want to build another and dont want people thinking i build junk. I have built several workbenches for friends and family so this one needs to be as good as i can build with good hardware. I got two sprockets over the weekend and may use them for a twin screw vise. I will need #35 chain.

Have your say...
