Who knows how a shop begins? I certainly not sure. Began going to work with my dad around 8 years old. He was a painting contractor who remodeled houses in his spare time.

I remember bringing home scraps of wood from the jobsite, I remember getting my first hammer and I remember making my sister a closet for her barbie wardrobe when I was around 10 or 11.

I remember saving my money and buying my own Craftsman belt driven tablesaw when I was in high school and I remember every saw I've used since that time.

After 40+ years in construction, I'm not entirely certain how my shop began but I do know it's still evolving and I still love making sawdust
