I design and build Shaker inspired and custom furniture in Sacramento, CA. I've been a carpenter for about fifteen years in this area, starting out as a union apprentice in 1999 but more recently focused on the finish end of residential remodels and mainly in vintage neighborhoods.
I've worked in a lot of really cool houses for a lot of great contractors. Sacramento's known for it's beautifully maintained Victorians, Craftsman Bungalows and brick Tudors. I founded Barringer Woodworks in August, 2013 and have been at it full time since but still build a deck every now and again.
Lumberjocks has been a great, supportive and educational forum for me. Thankful for the ability to present my work here, view others work and get advice.
