Ok, fought with sizing the mortises to the tenons. Decided to just cut the mortises, and then adjust the tenons to each mortise. Got the long aprons glued up
As for that top sitting behind them? That is the underside of the top. Went to add the short tenons to the assembly…...OOPS! Bloody things were too long! had to back up, measure for the right size, and recut the tenons. Pattern turned out to be a little on the long side. Save that for another table project. Got the tenons recut, shorter (now) aprons installed. needed some corner blocks
Cut from a chunk of oak. Mitersaw? Ah….Nope. I marked out the 45* angles on the Oak, grabbed the circ. saw, cut made a few cuts. Drill press made a few holes for screws. Some glue on the miter edges, and drive the screws into the aprons
Drill press also made a slotted hole in the blcks for a screw to attach the top with. Brought the table up out of the Dungeon shop, just to “sun” itself. Still need a final smoothing, and a finish…
I can post the measurements, IF anybody wants them….
