« Part 3: Connecting the legs Part 4 of Simple Bedside Table series no next part

Had to go to the basement, and check the clothes dryer…..half the load needed to go through again…checked on the Quart can of Poly Gloss Varnish…to see IF I needed to by a new can…

Opened the lid…looked like new, only 1/2 of a pint missing…had a brush handy..and since I was going to be down here anyway, waiting on the dryer…

How about a PIP?

View from the right side….that is not “blotch” it is grain..

View from the center…..watch how the grain changes…with each view…

And from the left end. Single coat, right from the can….tipped off once the coat was on (hold the brush straight up, barely touching the surface, and LIGHTLY brush all the way with each stroke. ) Will let this dry tonight, tomorrow I can buff it out a bit, and see IF it needs a second coat….if not, it will get posted as a project.

Thanks for looking in..

That turned out fantastic!

Those tapered legs really give a delicate look to this table.
