My shop is an attached two car garage. As you can see you can’t even get a matchbox in there let alone a real car.

My biggest issue is lumber storage, there is a big stack between the garage door and the bandsaw and another one in front of the lathe and there is a rack above the workbench that is clear full of assorted moldings I got from a cabinet shop for free.

Tools; Ridgid granite top tablesaw, Ridgid jointer, Ridgid planer, Ridgid OS sander, Rikon 14” bandsaw, Craftsman radial arm saw, Craftsman scroll saw, Jet lathe, Taiwan POS drill press, JR high school shop made router table w/Dewalt router, PC air compressor, Ace miter saw, Lincoln welder, Victor oxy/acetylene torch.

The shelf under my big assembly bench holds most of my hand power tools.

Also I don’t have near enough power, but my cousin has promised to come and rewire it for me (he’s an electrician), we just can’t get our schedules to match.

Thanks for looking.

Bake, this looks like you have a pretty nice shop in which to work. Kudos on getting the cars out of there so that you can have more room in your shop. I have often said that I am glad we added on a third garage in our basement when we built that I later converted into a shop. If I had to ask my wife to give up her garage space so that I could have a shop, I would be outside in the doghouse. :) It looks like you have organized your space pretty well and I can empathize with you about needing more lumber storage. That is a dilemma that a lot of us face. At times I have had to “store” lumber on any horizontal space that is available.

You also have a nice set of tools to play with as well.

Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed touring your shop.

Bake-
I like the Orange and Black in your shop!! It looks like you have a very capable workspace. I like the peg board wall you have as well. Thanks for the ideas on a few things and for the tour.
