thanks for the welcome fellow WW enthusiasts. There is a great deal of worthwhile information, comments, feedback and suggestions from the membership here and it has proven to be a wealth of material for a beginner in the art. I’m currently stockpiling equipment, dust collection system, air filtration and supplies and looking forward to getting into full ‘hobbyist’ production. So far, my projects have included a display stand for a professional photographer friend, some easels for displaying artwork, a grooming table for my wife and her dog show hobby and some 3D stand up animal puzzles.
Having just recently retired, I’ve got plenty of time to tinker with a head full of ideas and wish list items from friends. I’ve also caught the ‘Beaver’ fever as I’ve recently added an old Rockwell Beaver table saw & a vintage Beaver 14” band saw to the armory. These two pieces alone are good projects for restoration. Hope to share some photos of the progress along the way.
