Unique Online Woodworking Awards

Here’s your chance to showcase your latest woodworking projects while competing for prizes. The rules are simple and, like everything else at LumberJocks, there’s no fee to enter.

The best part of this competition?

There will be no designated jury of experts. You and your fellow LumberJocks will cast the votes. This creates a truly democratic voting process from our exceptional woodworking community.

Prizes

The more entries, the better the prizes will become, so please spread the word!

If there are fewer than 100 entries 50 entries in the category on the entry deadline, the prizes will be:

1. Category Winner: $100 Amazon Gift Certificate plus free one year subscription to Fine Woodworking magazine
2. Category Runner Up: $50 Amazon Gift Certificate

If there are 100 entries 50 entries and more in the category on the entry deadline, the prizes will be:

1. Category Winner: $150 $200 Amazon Gift Certificate plus free one year subscription to Fine Woodworking magazine
2. Category Runner Up: $75 Amazon Gift Certificate

Official Rules

1. You may enter one project per category and you may enter the same project into multiple categories.
2. Entry deadline is Wednesday January 31, 2007 at 3 PM Central Daylight Time (CDT).
3. Voting opens on Thursday February 1, 2007 at 6 AM Central Daylight Time (CDT) and ends on Wednesday February 7, 2007 at 3 PM Central Daylight Time (CDT).
4. Each vote must list top five entries per category in order. You cannot include your own entry in the list.
5. You are allowed to vote only if you have at least one project listed on the LumberJocks.com and you can submit only one vote.
6. Total points will be calculated for each entry from the submitted votes (1st place = 5 points ... 5th place = 1 point).
7. The final order of the entries will be determined by the total points (primary ranking) and number of higher rankings (secondary ranking).
8. Winners will be announced on Thursday February 8, 2007 at 6 AM Central Daylight Time (CDT).

LumberJocks.com reserves the right to amend the rules at any time in case unanticipated circumstances arise.
